Mykenzie has been home since December 30, 2011. She is doing great. We have been the pediatrician twice and the cardiologist. She is growing the way she is suppose to. We went to the pediatrician on Monday, January 9, 2012 and she weighed 8lbs 14oz.

The cardiologist said she will probably need one more surgery, but as of right now we haven't been told when that will happen. She will need to have her aorta valve and mitra valve repaired. Both cardiologist and surgeon are hoping the valves grow with her heart. She came home on one medication and the doctors increase the dose as she gains weight. The medication keeps her from having SVTs.

We treat her like a normal healthy baby girl. She is eating good and sleeping good. She gets up twice throughout the night. I want to thank every one who continues to follow her story.

We still need prayers.

Mykenzie was born on December 9,2011, she was taken straight to cardiac icu. When she was 5 days old she had open heart surgery. She was the only newborn in cicu with the most progress. She was put into step down 10 days after surgery, she went home when she was only 15 days old. She is my little miracle and having her home for her first Christmas was the best Christmas present we could ever ask for. We have an appointment tomorrow to follow up with her cardiac team at Children's Hospital Boston then after the appointment we are New York bound.

Please keep Mykenzie in your prayers. She is doing amazing and continues to perform miracles.
